ASSA Handbooks
The ASSA Handbook is published annually and contains articles, breed statistics, lists of ASSA awards, show results, pedigrees and owner information, and photos of Shelties that earned advanced AKC titles in conformation, obedience, herding, tracking, and agility during the year.
The first edition of the Handbook covered the years from 1968 to 1970. ASSA has available for sale a limited stock of books from previous years. If you have earned an advanced AKC title on your dog, you can submit photos and pedigrees for publication in an upcoming handbook. ASSA membership is not required. Download these forms for details on submission requirements, deadline, and fees:
