What will happen in legislation if a core group does not maintain a vigil on new laws and ordinances?

Activities:

Research and bring to the program a list of the State officials that need to be contacted if poor legislation is being proposed.

Bring URL’s of websites in your state and county legislation/ government so members can help keep up with proposed legislation.

Discuss fund raising ideas so the club can remain financially solvent. (seminars, matches, training classes or sessions)

If your constitution hasn’t been review in over five years set up a committee to review it and see if any changes are needed

Pass out a sheet of paper to each member and ask him or her to write down 4-5 things they would like to see the club do in the next year. Use these ideas to make meetings and programs relevant to the needs of the members
